How HP laptops are repaired
HP Pavilion and Envy hinges are the brand’s known weak point: the hinge mounts crack the plastic case and the lid separates. We repair the mounts and replace the hinges rather than just the case. Screens are inexpensive and common sizes are stocked. Batteries and SSDs are replaceable on nearly every model. Spectre and EliteBook screens are bonded and ordered.
Compared with other 2023 models
The HP OMEN 17 is one of 4 HP laptops from 2023 with a page here. Compare the HP Envy x360 15 (display: 15.6-inch touch, 360-degree hinge; chip: Intel Core 13th gen or Ryzen), the HP Envy 16 (display: 16-inch LCD or OLED; gpu: Optional RTX), the HP Pavilion Plus 14 (display: 14-inch OLED or LCD; chip: Intel Core 13th gen or Ryzen). Parts are usually not interchangeable between these models even when they look alike, so tell us exactly which one you have when you book.

Questions
HP OMEN 17 repair FAQ
How much does a HP OMEN 17 repair cost?
We quote after a free diagnostic and before any work starts, because the price depends on the part. Every repair carries a one-year warranty and our low-price guarantee, and we tell you honestly if a repair is not worth it against the value of the laptop.
How long does a HP OMEN 17 repair take?
Same day when the part is stocked, and 3 to 5 business days when it is ordered. Board-level work and data recovery take longer; we give you the timeline before we start.
Will I lose my data?
No. Screens, batteries, ports, keyboards and most board work leave your data alone. Drive replacements include cloning your old drive when it is readable, and we tell you first if anything would be lost.
