How Other desktops are repaired
Desktops from smaller brands use standard parts more often than not, which makes them easy to fix. Mini PCs like the Intel NUC and Beelink use laptop-style parts and are repaired the same way as laptops. Point-of-sale terminals and small servers are handled through our business accounts with priority turnaround.
Compared with other 2023 models
The Minisforum UM790 Pro is one of 3 Other desktops from 2023 with a page here. Compare the Intel NUC 13 Pro (chip: Intel Core 13th gen; use: Home and office), the MSI Trident AS (2023) (gpu: Up to RTX 4070; chip: Intel Core 13th gen). Parts are usually not interchangeable between these models even when they look alike, so tell us exactly which one you have when you book.

Questions
Minisforum UM790 Pro repair FAQ
How much does a Minisforum UM790 Pro repair cost?
We quote after a free diagnostic and before any work starts, because the price depends on the part. Every repair carries a one-year warranty and our low-price guarantee, and we tell you honestly if a repair is not worth it against the value of the desktop.
How long does a Minisforum UM790 Pro repair take?
Same day when the part is stocked, and 3 to 5 business days when it is ordered. Board-level work and data recovery take longer; we give you the timeline before we start.
Will I lose my data?
No. Screens, batteries, ports, keyboards and most board work leave your data alone. Drive replacements include cloning your old drive when it is readable, and we tell you first if anything would be lost.
