How MSI laptops are repaired
MSI gaming laptops need thermal service more than any other repair: dried paste, clogged fans and thermal throttling. We clean, repaste and replace fans. Screens are high-refresh panels that are ordered. Charging ports wear from the heavy power bricks and are replaced on their own board. SSD and memory upgrades are straightforward.

Questions
MSI Katana 15 (2023) repair FAQ
How much does a MSI Katana 15 (2023) repair cost?
We quote after a free diagnostic and before any work starts, because the price depends on the part. Every repair carries a one-year warranty and our low-price guarantee, and we tell you honestly if a repair is not worth it against the value of the laptop.
How long does a MSI Katana 15 (2023) repair take?
Same day when the part is stocked, and 3 to 5 business days when it is ordered. Board-level work and data recovery take longer; we give you the timeline before we start.

No. Screens, batteries, ports, keyboards and most board work leave your data alone. Drive replacements include cloning your old drive when it is readable, and we tell you first if anything would be lost.
