Repairing older Pixel phones
Pixel 2 through 5 carry the fingerprint reader on the back, so it is untouched by a screen replacement. Pixel 6 and 7 moved it under the display, which needs a calibration step after a screen swap that we do before handing the phone back. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in particular are known for battery swelling and the 6 Pro for its curved screen cracking at the edges. The camera bar glass on Pixel 6 and 7 is a separate replaceable part. The a-series phones have plastic backs and are the cheapest Pixels to repair.

Screen replacement
Screens for the common older Pixel models are in stock at both stores and cost less than current-model screens. We replace the full assembly so touch and brightness match the original, and we transfer any sensors the phone needs.
Battery replacement
On any phone more than two years old the battery is the most common repair. Fast drain, shutdowns in the cold, or a screen lifting at one edge from a swelling cell all mean a new battery. We fit the cell, reseal the phone and check charging before you leave.
Charging port, cameras and water damage
A port that only charges at an angle is usually lint and cleaning is free; a dead port is replaced the same day. Cameras, speakers, microphones and buttons are modular and replaced when the part is in stock. After a spill or a swim, do not charge it: bring it in and we clean the board, dry it and test every function before replacing only what failed.

Is a Pixel 6 battery replacement worth it?
Yes. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are the Pixels most likely to arrive with a swollen or fast-draining battery, and a new cell restores them. If the screen is lifting at one edge, bring it in soon; that is a swelling cell pushing on it.
Do you fix the Pixel 3a, 4a, 5a and 6a?
Yes. The a-series has plastic backs and inexpensive screens, so they are among the cheapest phones we repair.
Will the fingerprint reader work after a Pixel 6 or 7 screen replacement?
Yes, once calibrated. We run the calibration as part of the repair and test it before you leave.
