Repairing older HTC phones
HTC’s aluminum unibody phones from the One M8 through the HTC 10 are glued together tightly and take longer to open than most phones, so screen work on them is a longer job. The U11 and U12+ have glass backs and squeezable Edge Sense frames; the pressure sensors in the frame are not disturbed by screen or back work. Batteries on all of them are well past replacement age.

Screen replacement
Screens for the common older HTC models are in stock at both stores and cost less than current-model screens. We replace the full assembly so touch and brightness match the original, and we transfer any sensors the phone needs.
Battery replacement
On any phone more than two years old the battery is the most common repair. Fast drain, shutdowns in the cold, or a screen lifting at one edge from a swelling cell all mean a new battery. We fit the cell, reseal the phone and check charging before you leave.
Charging port, cameras and water damage
A port that only charges at an angle is usually lint and cleaning is free; a dead port is replaced the same day. Cameras, speakers, microphones and buttons are modular and replaced when the part is in stock. After a spill or a swim, do not charge it: bring it in and we clean the board, dry it and test every function before replacing only what failed.
