Repairing older Moto phones
Most older Motorolas use an LCD, which makes them the cheapest screens in the store, and plastic backs that do not shatter. The catch is water: nearly all of them carry only a splash rating, so liquid damage is the second most common job after screens. Charging ports on older Moto G models sit in a plastic frame that flexes and wear out; the port is usually on its own board and is a quick swap. The Razr 2019 and Razr 5G have folding inner displays and hinges that we repair in house.

Screen replacement
Screens for the common older Moto models are in stock at both stores and cost less than current-model screens. We replace the full assembly so touch and brightness match the original, and we transfer any sensors the phone needs.
Battery replacement
On any phone more than two years old the battery is the most common repair. Fast drain, shutdowns in the cold, or a screen lifting at one edge from a swelling cell all mean a new battery. We fit the cell, reseal the phone and check charging before you leave.
Charging port, cameras and water damage
A port that only charges at an angle is usually lint and cleaning is free; a dead port is replaced the same day. Cameras, speakers, microphones and buttons are modular and replaced when the part is in stock. After a spill or a swim, do not charge it: bring it in and we clean the board, dry it and test every function before replacing only what failed.
