Repairing older Xperia phones
Xperia screens are tall 21:9 panels specific to each model and are ordered rather than stocked. The fingerprint reader lives in the power button on every one of these, so it is never affected by screen work. Flagship models have glass on both faces and both are replaceable; the 10 series uses plastic backs. The SIM and microSD tray pulls out by hand, and a tray that no longer seats is a common small repair.

Screen replacement
Screens for the common older Xperia models are in stock at both stores and cost less than current-model screens. We replace the full assembly so touch and brightness match the original, and we transfer any sensors the phone needs.
Battery replacement
On any phone more than two years old the battery is the most common repair. Fast drain, shutdowns in the cold, or a screen lifting at one edge from a swelling cell all mean a new battery. We fit the cell, reseal the phone and check charging before you leave.
Charging port, cameras and water damage
A port that only charges at an angle is usually lint and cleaning is free; a dead port is replaced the same day. Cameras, speakers, microphones and buttons are modular and replaced when the part is in stock. After a spill or a swim, do not charge it: bring it in and we clean the board, dry it and test every function before replacing only what failed.
