What to know before a Galaxy S25 repair

Small flagship, small battery: battery swaps are common by year two. The 6.2-inch screen is the same size as the S24’s but is an S25-specific part. Camera lens glass on the back is replaceable separately from the cameras.

Screen replacement

The Galaxy S25 has a 6.2-inch AMOLED display. On AMOLED phones a cracked outer glass usually means the whole assembly is replaced, because separating the glass from the panel is not reliable. We fit original-quality panels so color, brightness, refresh rate and always-on display match the factory screen. The fingerprint reader sits under the panel and works after replacement; we test it before you leave.

Back glass

The back of the Galaxy S25 is glass. A cracked back is a real repair, not cosmetic, because it lets in moisture and grit; we replace the panel, transfer the camera lens glass and any wireless charging or magnet ring, and reseal.

How it compares

Among the 2025 Galaxy line the Galaxy S25 has the smallest screen at 6.2 inches. By comparison, the Galaxy S25+ has a 6.7-inch screen; the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 6.9-inch screen, a titanium frame, 4 rear cameras; the Galaxy S25 Edge has a 6.7-inch screen, a titanium frame, 2 rear cameras. Parts are not interchangeable between these models even when the sizes match, so tell us exactly which one you have when you book.

Battery replacement

The Galaxy S25 is still new enough that battery complaints are rare, but heavy chargers and hot cars age cells early. If it drains by mid-afternoon or shuts off with charge showing, we test the cell for free and replace it if it has lost capacity.

Charging port, cameras and buttons

A charging port that only works at an angle is usually lint, and cleaning it is free. A port that is dead or loose is replaced. Cameras, speakers, microphones and buttons are all modular on the Galaxy S25 and are replaced the same day when the part is in stock.

Water damage

The Galaxy S25 is IP68 rated, which protects it when new but not after a drop opens a gap in the seal. After a swim we open it, clean the board and dry it before testing, and after any screen or back repair we fit fresh adhesive so the seal is restored.

Turnaround

We keep screens and batteries for the Galaxy S25 in stock at both stores, so most repairs are done while you wait, usually in 30 minutes to an hour. Parts we have to order still land within 3 to 5 business days.

Questions

Galaxy S25 repair FAQ

How much does a Galaxy S25 screen repair cost?

We quote it after a free diagnostic and before any work starts, because the price depends on which part your phone needs. Flagship screens are the most expensive part on any phone, and the Galaxy S25 is no exception, but the repair is still well under the cost of replacing the phone or paying most insurance deductibles. Every repair comes with a one-year warranty and our low-price guarantee.

What breaks most often on the Galaxy S25?

Screens, almost always from a corner drop. On the Galaxy S25 the 6.2-inch AMOLED assembly is replaced as one part; a case with a raised lip is the single best way to avoid a second visit.

How long does a Galaxy S25 repair take?

We keep screens and batteries for the Galaxy S25 in stock at both stores, so most repairs are done while you wait, usually in 30 minutes to an hour. Parts we have to order still land within 3 to 5 business days. The 6.2-inch AMOLED screen is the part we stock most for this model.

Will I lose my data when you repair my Galaxy S25?

No. Screens, batteries, ports, cameras and back panels on the Galaxy S25 do not touch your data. We only reset a phone if you ask us to, or if a board-level repair requires it, and we tell you first.

Will the fingerprint reader still work after a Galaxy S25 screen replacement?

Yes. The Galaxy S25 uses an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader that reads through the display. With a correct original-quality assembly it works after the swap, and we test it before you leave.
